Services and Supports For Parents and Families
Linda, Glenn, Julie, and Ryan Balog
Over the past ten years the EFWCP has provided support for our family in every capacity.
The family service social events allow us to meet other parents and children dealing with similar issues.
This always provides a positive experience for Julie.

The EFWCP is committed to helping children diagnosed with epilepsy or seizure disorder and the
childs parents, siblings, and other family members. We understand the challenges families
face when a child has a seizure disorder.
Parents who learn that their child has epilepsy or seizure disorder may react with a range of emotions,
from fear and anxiety to denial and disbelief. Love, support, and understanding between family
members and from friends will help adjust the family to this condition.
The EFWCP Children and Family Services Coordinator and Regional Coordinators are here to work with you
and your family on a one-on-one basis to help you overcome some of the challenges you face daily.
Services include workshops for family members to learn more about epilepsy, telephone support, and
referrals to other community services. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff members provide a variety
of supportive and education services for both your child and your family.
To request assistance and discuss your childs needs, contact the EFWCP office in your region.
