Epilepsy Foundation Coloring Book Get yours today! If you are a Pennsylvania resident, you can request one free copy of the “Because You Are My Friend” coloring book. Simply ask your Mom or Dad to send us an email with your name and address to the Children & Family Services Coordinator at staff@efwp.org or have an adult give us a call at 800-361-5885. The “Because You Are My Friend” coloring book is a fun and convenient way to help explain epilepsy to your brother or sister, friends or classmates. Pennsylvania residents can order more than one copy for a small charge of $1 per coloring book plus shipping costs. Epilepsy is a kind of illness that only happens sometimes. Here are some things to remember about seizures:

1. Epilepsy is not catching. You cannot get it from someone else and they cannot get it from you.
2. You cannot swallow your tongue during a seizure.
3. Do not put anything in the mouth of someone having a seizure.
4. You did not get seizures because of something bad that you or your family did. It just happened.
5. Little seizures can make you see, hear, or smell things that no one else sees, hears, or smells. Not remembering these things does not make you crazy.
6. Having seizures does not mean that you are less smart than other people.
7. Have fun! You can have a good time playing sports and doing things your friends can do!
