Join the National Walk for Epilepsy on March 28th

This spring, a special event on the National Mall will highlight the importance of epilepsy awareness and the need to raise funds for more epilepsy research. Walk Chair Greg Grunberg (star of NBC’s “Heroes”) and thousands of dedicated supporters of people with epilepsy will walk on the Mall at the start of cherry blossom season in Washington, D.C. The National Walk for Epilepsy is presented by the Epilepsy Foundation and Ortho-McNeil Neurologics, Inc.

You can support both the EFWCP and the National Walk. You can join our team, Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central PA, and the money you raise will stay in western and central Pennsylvania to support local programs and services. Even if you can’t travel to Washington, D.C. on March 28th, you can still participate in the National Walk by becoming a “virtual” walker on our team.

Or, if you would like to create your own team for the event, you can choose “Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central PA” from the list of Team Companies listed on the National Walk website, and your fundraising dollars will be directed to our region to support our friends and neighbors living with seizures.

Visit www.walkforepilepsy.org to register as a part of our Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central PA team, and the money you raise will go directly to our local services. Or, by choosing Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central PA as your Team Company, your contributions will come back to us in Pennsylvania. Your donations support the research, educational outreach, emergency medication assistance, information and referral, and family social events that are a part of the EFWCP’s mission. For more information or for assistance registering, contact us at 1-800-361-5885 today.
