Boundless: An Outward Bound Course for Youth with Epilepsy
July 26 - August 1, 2008

Outward Bound is offering a week-long outdoor adventure for young people with epilepsy, ages 16 to 25. For seven days, you are invited to join a small group of other teens and young adults with epilepsy to explore the spectacular Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The group will be accompanied by two experienced outward bound adventure course leaders through out the course. In addition, a senior epileptologist will accompany the group on select segments of the program.

You don?t need to have previous backpacking experience. We?ll teach you everything you need to know! The course will begin at the Leadville Mountain Center with a basic introduction to backcountry travel. Then you?ll journey out into the outward bound of the high country -- where the real magic takes place.

On this exciting expedition, you?ll also be immersed in the Outward Bound core values: - Adventure and Challenge - Learning Through Experience - Compassion and Service - Character Development - Social and Environmental Responsibility - Diversity and Inclusion
