The Epilepsy Foundation Western/Central Pennsylvania (EFWCP) has been awarded a grant sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline to host a one day symposium on Women and Epilepsy. The EFWCP's conference "Women and Epilepsy: Living Life Without Compromise" will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Hilton Harrisburg. The day will feature presentations on the impact of hormones on women with epilepsy and on reproductive health concerns. In addition, attendees can participate in panel discussions with medical experts and women living with epilepsy who are at various stages in life.
