The EFWCP will host a family conference on epilepsy on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Holiday Inn in Johnstown from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature presentations from medical and legal experts on topics including treatment options, school issues, stress management, nutrition, and becoming an effective advocate with elected officials.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with each other. A continental breakfast and buffet lunch will be provided, and childcare services are available.
The keynote address will be given by Rev. Ross Pryor, a Johnstown resident who has been living with epilepsy since his teen years. Rev. Pryor has overcome adversity to become a minister leading two congregations in the Johnstown area.
