Mardi Gras - A Fabulous Fundraiser

The EFWCP ?let the good times roll? on Fat Tuesday, February 28 as they celebrated Mardi Gras with more than 700 of Pittsburgh?s heartiest revelers. The 12th Annual Mardi Gras Gala saluted Murry Gerber, Chairman, President and CEO of Equitable Resources as King of the Mardi Gras. Guests toasted Gerber and the members of his court - Gregory Babe from Bayer MaterialScience, Kim Tillotson Fleming from Hefren Tillotson, Morgan O'Brien from Duquesne Light, and David Shapira from Giant Eagle - for the many contributions they make to communities in southwestern PA, all while supporting the mission of the EFWCP. Because of the generosity of this year?s attendees, more than $318,000 was raised for the EFWCP. $10,000 of that total was donated to rebuilding the Epilepsy Foundation affiliate in New Orleans, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Thank you to all of our wonderful Mardi Gras supporters for making this one of the most successful EFWCP events ever!
