The Department of Health has announced statewide clinics Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22, to administer free H1N1 vaccines to those in the recommended target groups who have not previously had access to the vaccine.
Individuals in the recommended target groups must first schedule an appointment time, day and location, before arriving at the clinic. These appointments will ensure that the correct type and amount of vaccine are available at each location.
Health clinics this weekend will be held from 2:00 8:00 pm on Friday and Sunday, and from 8:00 am 2:00 pm on Saturday. Appointments can be made at www.H1N1inPA.com under the Whats Hot section, 24 hours a day. Individuals without internet access can call 1-877-PA- Health (1-877-724-3258) between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Anyone interested in the H1N1 vaccination should download an H1N1 vaccine consent form at www.h1n1inPA.com . Consent forms must be completed for each individual that has scheduled an appointment to be vaccinated.
