State Budget Update

A final state budget was passed in October that includes $150,000 in federal funding and $396,000 in state funding for epilepsy services. Unfortunately, this is a $204,000 reduction in the statewide allocation, and a 34% reduction from the amount that the EFWCP had been receiving. This cut in funding means that the EFWCP is going to have to manage a deficit in its current operating budget. We will keep you informed about how this reduction will impact our services.
