The Mount Lebanon Special Education Advisory Council would like to announce the following 2009 kick-off event:

If you are the parent or guardian of a current or soon-to-be Mount Lebanon School District middle-school child with an IEP, please join us for an evening dedicated to the middle school special education services and inclusion practices, including its strengths and its areas of concern. Light refreshments will be served. Those invited from Mellon Middle School and Jefferson Middle School include principals, regular education teachers, special education teachers, paraprofessionals, school nurses, and guidance counselors. School Board members are also invited to attend as always. And, of course, parent attendance is necessary to make this event successful and meaningful? so please plan on attending!

Presentations by administrative members and the AIU? Q & A session included.
February 10: "Valentine's Family Social"
Possible guest speaker for parents on "Parental strategies for children with special and emotional needs"
